    Yeovil Town Football Club has received a warning that it could be struck off the register at Companies House. A First Gazette notice for compulsory strike-off has been posted against Yeovil Town Holdings Limited, the company that runs Yeovil Town FC. In a statement, the club says it is working with Companies House to resolve the problem, which relates to registering the name of a non-UK director in line with their passport, and wants to reassure fans that the issue does not affect the day-to-day running of the club.

    Somerset Council has been given £22 million to provide assistance to people facing cost of living pressures. The Crisis Resilience Fund will be distributed through Citizens Advice Somerset over the next three years, providing support with crisis payments to families and individuals facing financial shocks or hardship.

    One hundred and forty-five new ambulances have come into service in the South West in the last twelve months. The government says it is a record for new ambulances supplied to the region, with each new double-crewed vehicle fitted with the latest onboard technology.

They were taking part in the Great Tommy Sleep Out, raising £450 for Royal British Veterans Enterprise, an organisation that supports ex-military personnel and their families.
