    Carymoor a unique piece of Somerset’s landscape is preparing to open its gates to the public this August, a culmination of celebrating a dramatic 30-year transformation

    Visitors to the Open Day can enjoy a mix of pre-booked sessions and all-day drop-in activities for families running from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM:
    Exclusive Site & Waste Tunnel Tours: Guided walks exploring the nature reserve, including rare access to Carymoor's famous Underground Waste Tunnel.
    Heritage Crafts & Workshops: Have a go at traditional pond dipping, metal detecting or book onto a masterclass to weave your own willow plate.
    Family Adventure Trails: Wildlife tracking, the "Poo Dunnit" game in the games field, orienteering and an observation beehive.
    Collaborative Community Art: Visitors can contribute a custom piece to a giant, permanent 30th anniversary mosaic to be displayed in the visitor centre.
    Anniversary Café: Local tea and cakes will be served in the main eco-centre building, with a complimentary slice and hot drink included in every ticket purchase.
