Explore the unique nature reserve at Carymoor with guided nature walks on their Open Day on Monday 5th May.

Join us on Monday, May 5th, at the Carymoor Environmental Trust for a tour of the capped landfill site at Dimmer, just outside Castle Cary.

We will be running guided nature talks at 10.30 am, 12 noon and 2 pm to explore the various areas of the site, discover the varied habitats, experience our Waste Tunnel, and hopefully see some wildlife. Staff members will lead the tours, which will last approximately 90 minutes.

You are also welcome to wander around our orchard, tree trail, and wildflower gardens and visit our various eco-buildings.

A pop-up cafe will be run by volunteers selling hot drinks and cakes.
