Santa Specials

Gates open at 10 am and train rides start at 10.15 am.

The Santa Specials at the Yeovil Railway Centre are an enjoyable experience for everyone from ages 1 to 100.

You start your visit with a train ride behind, travelling in a decorated heritage carriage with windows to see out of and a seat for everyone. Our track is about 1/3 of a mile long, so the train ride is fun for the children but not long enough to get bored.

Visitors then proceed to the former GWR Transfer Shed, where Santa will greet them. All children will receive a free present from Santa.

The Adult ticket includes a free mince pie and a hot drink (tea or Coffee).

After you have concluded the visit to Santa, you may wish to visit the Gift Shop (located on the platform), where there is a large selection of books, DVDs, Model Railway items (second-hand) and much more.

Our model railway will also be open.

Come and see the multi-award-winning Christmas displays put together by our volunteers. You can also dance and play in the snow falling from above.

Admission prices. Adults £15, Children £15. Children aged 12 months and under are admitted free and will receive a free present.

Tickets must be booked for the required train.

Trains will run at the following times:
10.15 am, 10.40 am. 11.05 am, 11.30 am, 11.55 am. 12.20 pm. 1.40 pm. 2.05 pm, 2.30 pm, 2.55 pm, 3.20 pm
