Steam Train Day

Steam Train Day using ‘Pectin’ to give train rides along the 1/3rd mile of the ex-Great Western Railway Clifton Maybank branch. Passengers travel in historic brake van vehicles or coach. Coach is accessible via a ramp for standard-size Wheelchairs and other users.

Trains run every 20 minutes (except for a lunch break), and visitors can enjoy unlimited trips on the day and on the Miniature Railway.

Other planned attractions include a shop, light refreshments, a Model Railway, and exhibits and displays (including demonstrations of the turntable).

Admission (including Steam Train and Miniature Railway rides) is £12.50 per adult and £6 per child (aged 5-15), while children 4 and under are admitted free. One Child (aged 5-15) is admitted FREE with a full-paying adult. (The Gate opens at 10.30 am, and train rides start at 11am. The last admission is at 3.20 pm, with the last train at 3.30pm. Members are also admitted free.
