Yeovil’s Town Criers Competition

15 Criers from all over the West Country and more, are coming to the new entertainment area (Amphitheater) To compete against each other for the prize of being the best town crier on the day.
The criers all meet at the Town House for the briefing and competition running order, then we all process down through the town to the entertainment area for the competition, that should start at 10am.
There are two rounds, the first is the criers own home cry, giving an in sight to the town they hail from, the second cry is “Water” this is set by myself. It will be interesting to hear how they interpret the subject.
