Police are investigating the theft of a motorbike in Ilminster. The machine was taken from a parking bay in Station Road on Monday night earlier this week. It was later found abandoned in Winterhay Lane after having been set on fire. Police are treating the incident as arson. If you know who stole the bike, please call the non-emergency number 101.
A Somerset cheese company has changed its name. Norseland Limited, based in Ilchester, has reverted to its original name, The Ilchester Cheese Company. The business, which employs 175 people, says it wanted to reconnect with its heritage and the local community.
