So-called ‘bleed kits’ have been installed in Yeovil this week – with the Avon and Somerset Bleed Kit Partnership appealing for local businesses to come forward as locations for further installations. As it stands, there are 7 bleed kits in the town, which help to prevent life-threatening bleeding from injuries such as stab wounds.
The existing locations include HSBC on Middle Street and Dominos on Wyndham Street and have been fully funded by the Avon & Somerset Police & Crime Commisioner. They are particularly interested in locations on High St,Wine St, Union St, Newton Rd, Market St and around the bus station.
Herne View Primary School in Ilminster are celebrating after being award the Skills Builder Partnership Gold Award.
