Police are repeating their appeal for help in connection with an incident in which a man was found with head injuries in Ilminster. It happened in Station Road in the early hours of Wednesday, June 14th. The man claims he was attacked by another man. Police say if you witnessed what happened or can help in any other way, please call the non-emergency number 101.

Currently, around a third of local authorities charge for dumping DIY waste at recycling centres. Somerset Council says it stands to lose around £100,000 a year if the government makes it free to dispose of asbestos and plasterboard.
