Customers who pay by direct debit should have received the £150 but those who don’t pay by direct debit might not have been paid and need to make a claim.

The look of Chard town centre is set to change in the coming months with a contractor appointed to undertake public realm improvement works. Alun Griffiths Ltd has been appointed as the contractor to deliver the improvements in Fore Street, Holyrood Street, Boden Street and the Eastern Gateway. The work forms part of the High Street Heritage Action Zone programme in Chard that will see more than £2 million invested in the town centre.
