Jane Goodfellow pleaded guilty at Taunton Crown Court to running Yeovil Wine Vaults Ltd despite being barred as a Director. Goodfellow – who was investigated by the Insolvency Service - also had her disqualification as a director extended by a further 10-years.

New figures have shown that property prices in South Somerset increased by 1.6 percent in April. The rise contributes to a longer-term trend that has seen property prices increase in South Somerset year-on-year by 14.2 percent. According to the Land Registry, the average price of a house in South Somerset in April was £261,926.
