In a statement, Club Chairman Scott Priestnall said he’d been in talks with various investors and had entered into a period of exclusivity with a preferred party about becoming a majority shareholder. However, Mr. Priestnall said speculation surrounding a takeover of the Club was, at this stage, premature.
