Police have appealed for help in tracing three people in connection with a burglary in Martock. Cash was stolen in the raid at a house in Coat Road, Martock, last Friday, July 2nd. Anyone who saw two men wearing baseball caps, a woman carrying a handbag and each dressed in black, getting into a vehicle in Coat Road, close to the industrial estate at around 9.30 am last Friday, are asked to call the non-emergency number 101.

Owen Goff of Jubilee Close in Chard was convicted of a series of historic sexual offences at Exeter Crown Court last month and was due to return to the Court yesterday for sentencing. Judge Timothy Rose said it would not be appropriate to sentence Goff in his absence and issued a warrant for his immediate arrest.
