A Somerset woman has started a national campaign to make sure NHS staff don't go hungry. Neely Mozowala, a specialist Diabetes Podiatrist, started an online baking group for medics after finding that NHS workers on the night shift were going hungry because of a lack of food provided within hospitals. She's now calling on the NHS to make sure that enough food is available 24-hours-a-day
    in hospitals.

Organisers of ‘Live in Somerset’ say they're trying hard to find a replacement for Olly Murs. It follows the singer’s decision to withdraw from performing at the event due to a knee operation. Rag and Bone Man and Simply Red are booked to appear at ‘Live in Somerset’ in Vivary Park, in Taunton, in late August.

Fundraising is underway in Donyatt near Ilminster to pay for improvements to a play area. Organisers are aiming to raise £1500 for new equipment, including a children’s seesaw, at Donyatt Recreation ground.
