The construction industry in Somerset has raised concerns over the scrapping of red diesel. From Friday this week, the rebated fuel can no longer be used in construction vehicles like diggers and dump trucks. The changes were announced as part of the 2020 Budget to tackle climate change and make the UK carbon neutral by 2050.

It will now just run on Saturday and Sunday night during the August Bank Holiday with Rag 'n' bone man and Simply Red headlining.

Five-year-old German Shepherd, Ash, who is used to track offenders and locate missing people, will compete in the National Police Dog Trials finals at Cirencester Park, in Cirencester, in May.
