A new service that makes it easier for older women to get checked for womb cancer has started in Somerset. Women who aren't currently on HRT, or stopped taking it at least six weeks ago, can now self-refer for a test through the Somerset NHS Foundation Trust website.
A convicted killer from Somerset who refuses to reveal the whereabouts of the body of his murdered wife has failed in his bid to be freed from prison. 64-year-old Glyn Razzell from Crewkerne is serving a life sentence for the murder of his estranged wife, Linda, who vanished on her way to work in Swindon in 2002. Razzell told a parole board hearing he could not reveal the location of his wife's body because he "did not know" she was dead. The Board's report concluded that Razzell was being deceitful and ordered that he remain in prison.
