Teachers in Somerset belonging to the National Education Union are due to strike again tomorrow. It'll be the sixth time this year that teachers in Somerset have walked out in their long-running dispute over pay. The government is offering teachers a one-off payment of £1,000 and a pay rise of 4.3% but the NEU has rejected the offer.
Six million pounds is being spent upgrading a water treatment plant at Hardington Mandeville.
